AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAMS

 

The Reidsville Family YMCA offers member discounts on after school care and offers three options for care for kids Kindergarten through middle school:

Full-time, full-time with all-day and part-time

Full-time care is 5 days a week and part-time is 3 days a week
All day programs are also available when Rockingham County Schools are closed for teacher workdays.

All days operate from 7:30 am until 6:00 pm and are open to children outside of our after school program.

Schools serviced include South End Elementary and Williamsburg Elementary. Schools served with transportation to Sound End include Lawsonville Elementary, Score Center, Reidsville Middle, and Moss Street Elementary.

* Please note that our program requires 3 registered participants from each school in order to provide pick-up service.

The after school program follows the Rockingham County School schedule. Our workdays, out of school days and holiday breaks follow the County school schedule.

Activities include: homework time, snack, arts and crafts, character building, sports, outdoor games, board games, fitness activities, and swimming once per week and on out of school days

Hours of operation: Monday-Friday 2:30 - 6:30 pm; Teacher Workdays 7:30 am - 6:00 pm
