Did you know that a 30-minute walk in the water is equivalent to a two-hour walk on land? Water resistance offers an excellent opportunity for muscle toning and body sculpting. Water also cools the body during exercise, which reduces stress on the heart and reduces the risk of injury by lessening the impact on weight-bearing joints, muscles, and bones.
With four water fitness courses being offered, there is something for everyone. We have a deep-water class, two shallow-water classes, and a combination class which focuses more on deep-water exercises. Each class is designed to give your body a great workout while taking away the stress that comes with land-based exercise. These classes combine water-resistance exercises with aerobic activity for a total body workout.
